Revd Joy Rulton

I come from Colchester in North Essex, (believe me; I’ve heard all the jokes about Essex girls).

I worked with children with special needs in a primary school before becoming a minister.

My training was ecumenical, after which we moved to Cumbria in 1999, to a rural circuit, working there during the Foot and Mouth crisis of 2001. We moved to Bradford in 2004, then on to Newcastle.

I’m married to Bryan and we have three children, Simon and Chris and Danielle, all living in the north of England.
