Revd Christine Legge
I was very fortunate to be brought up in a loving Christian home and attended a Methodist Church 500 yards from where we lived. There I was part of a church family which encouraged me and enabled me to discover my gifts and skills which I was then able to share in a variety of ways. After a number of years working in the Railway and Electricity Industries, and as the result of a serious car accident, I was able to explore a call to full-time Methodist Ministry. I trained at Wesley College, Bristol and was Ordained at the Loughbrough Conference in 2002. My first appointment was in the Bude Circuit, I was then stationed in Jersey for 10 years and moved to North Staffordshire Circuit in September 2018. I am looking forward to working with the congregations and communities in and around Cross Heath, Higherland, Madeley and Silverdale. My travelling companions are two cats and a cockatiel – and maybe another dog in the future.
