Funerals

Anyone can have a funeral service in the Methodist Church. You don't have to be a churchgoer. Our ministers will make a funeral service as unique and special as the person who has died. They are able to offer a listening ear if you need to talk; will offer prayer; and will support you and your family as you prepare for the service.

Our Circuit ministers are also able to lead funeral services at a crematorium, green or woodland burial sites, civil cemeteries, and funeral director's chapels.

If you would like a Methodist minister to lead the funeral service for your loved one, please speak with the funeral director who is caring for the person who has died.
