Christine Legge

I was very fortunate to be brought up in a loving Christian home and attended a Methodist Church 500 yards from where we lived.  There I was part of a church family which encouraged me and enabled me to discover my gifts and skills which I was then able to share in a variety of ways.  After a number of years working in the Railway and Electricity Industries, and as the result of a serious car accident, I was able to explore a call to full-time Methodist Ministry.

I trained at Wesley College, Bristol and was Ordained at the Loughbrough Conference in 2002.  My first appointment was in the Bude Circuit, I was then stationed in Jersey for 10 years and moved to North Staffordshire Circuit in September 2018.  I am enjoying working with the Congregations and their communities in the four churches I have pastoral care for: Cross Heath, Higherland, Madeley and Silverdale Methodist Churches and see shoots of growth and areas of development and outreach through each one.

My leisure activities often find their outworking in the Community as I seek to let the wider family of God know that they too are Loved. This has been seen most in the ''GO-GO' (Get One, Give One) Heart project' which has taken place over the last few years. Currently there is an Angel Project underway where angles are given, or left for folk to find, and receive a message that God loves them and delights in them.
